Pittsburgh Sports League

About PSL

PUMP's Pittsburgh Sports League is the premier provider of adult recreational sports league in the Pittsburgh region.  The PSL was started in the fall of 2000 with a flag football league of 150 people.  Since then, thousands of Pittsburghers have come together to play and socialize through the PSL.   The PSL currently offers broomball, bowling, basketball, darts, dodgeball, dek hockey, flag football, kickball, softball, tennis clinic, cornhole, both indoor and sand volleyball, and a running club.   Leagues are mostly co-ed, and many are offered four seasons throughout the year.

Who plays in the PSL?

The PSL is a great way to meet new people or to spend time with old friends!  On average, PSL participants are men and women ranging from ages 18 to 40 who play various sports on both a competitive and recreational level, but the intent of our leagues is to have fun!

Participants must be at least 18 years old.  There is no maximum age.  It is not required that you join PUMP in order to play in the PSL, however a $25 PUMP membership helps us support PUMP's mission.

How to register:

Registration takes place about one month prior to the start of each season.  Official registration dates are announced on the website, along with registration instructions, as soon as dates are determined.

You can register an entire team, a small group to be paired up with other players, or just yourself.  Team and individual fees vary from sport to sport.

Where are the games?

All over the Pittsburgh region!  The PSL does not own its own field or gymnasium.  PSL sports are played on many City of Pittsburgh and nearby fields and various recreation centers, school gyms, and sports facilites around the Pittsburgh region.  The venue is listed at the top of each schedule page.

PSL typically plays at the same place, on the same day each week.  Game times will vary from week to week.  Every once in awhile the location will change.
