Civic Engagement

PUMP Advocacy

PUMP encourages a new generation of leaders to become involved in the civic and political process. The civic decision-making process in our community is greatly enhanced through the involvement of Pittsburgh’s young professionals. The following is a list of the ways PUMP gets involved in advocacy:

  • providing information for the development of educated opinions and vehicles for advocacy;
  • providing assistance in accessing decision-making and elected positions;
  • and publicizing young people’s sentiments about timely issues to key stakeholders and the Pittsburgh community

Current issues PUMP is tracking are:

We keep an Archive page as well.
