Young Non Profit Professionals Network (YNPN)

Webster’s Dictionary defines “Young” as:
1. being in the first or an early stage of growth or development
2. having little experience

The Pittsburgh Chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN Pgh) promotes an efficient, viable and inclusive nonprofit sector that supports the growth, learning, and development of young professionals.

We engage and support future nonprofit and community leaders through professional development, networking, and social opportunities designed to assist individuals at all levels within the nonprofit community.
The national program has been in existence since 1997. The Pittsburgh chapter formed in 2009 and is looking for the following:

Nonprofit employees and volunteers (ages 21 and over) who are new to their occupation or role and are looking for advancement, mentorship, employment, and networking.
Nonprofit employees and volunteers who have been actively involved in the nonprofit sector and are interested in providing assistance and mentoring.
College students interested in the nonprofit community for volunteering or as a career path, including those enrolled in nonprofit / social service programs.

5:30 pm – 7:30 pm (registration will open at 5 pm)
The Rivers Club, One Oxford Center, Downtown

We welcome people involved in or interested in the nonprofit sector to join us for our kick-off event, which will feature an introduction to our organization, some “speed networking,” time to socialize, and fun prize giveaways!
Cost to attend the event is $26 per individual, however there is a reduced charge of $14 per individual who is under the age of 21. The Rivers Club will verify ID’s for alcoholic beverages.
The event is open to the first 100 registrants so please don’t wait…register now!
