Discover Pittsburgh LIVE/PLAY is designed to showcase Pittsburgh’s diverse neighborhoods, affordable housing options as well as the amenities each neighborhood has to offer. An interactive panel will discuss how to connect with and become more involved in your neighborhood and local cultural venues, volunteer organizations, and sports leagues will showcase why our neighborhoods are so great!

After the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to network with exhibitors from the various neighborhood community groups as well as representatives showcasing our great amenities.

For the last seven years Discover Pittsburgh has been a program of PUMP and is designed to inspire Pittsburgh’s next generation to become actively involved and invested in the Southwestern Pennsylvania region. Designed as a series titled “Live, Work, Play,” the goal of this program is to inform young and young-thinking Pittsburghers about the regions many amenities and opportunities. Everyone has heard the expression “It’s who you know” when facing a job search and PUMP would like to help you get in the know! In this installment of Discover Pittsburgh – WORK, attendees will have the opportunity to casually network in a “mash-up” type of setting with representatives from various industries and an interactive panel will discuss tricks of the job search trade.
