ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Kickball for Hope is an annual adult, co-ed kickball tournament that raises money for Girls Hope and PUMP. This year we hope to have 32 teams compete! Teams play in round robin lightning games in the morning/early afternoon. Winners of each division advance to a single elimination tournament later in the day. Games will start as early as 9:00 a.m. and last throughout the day, along with a picnic for all participants. Teams may have up to 18 players. At least 4 women must be on the field. Each participant gets a t-shirt. Players must be at least 21 years old.

Registration for teams will open June 16th. You'll be able to register online or mail a form. A $200 deposit is due upon registration to hold the team's place. This deposit is non-refundable after July 23rd. Team fee: $400 on or before July 16th; $475 after July 16th.
The Captain's Meeting will be Thursday, August 12th at 7:00 at Lot 17 (4617 Liberty Ave, 15224). It should last about an hour. Shirts are distributed, event information and schedules are distributed, etc. All teams must send a representative.
VOLUNTEERS
We have volunteers to keep score and help with the picnic, but we still need volunteers to umpire. Umpires should have sound knowledge of the rules of kickball or softball. Players in the tournament may volunteer to umpire--we just need to know in advance what team you're on so that we can schedule you. Volunteer umpires can email Becky. AFTER PARTY
If your team doesn't make it to the tournament, that doesn't mean the fun has to end! Join us for a happy hour at Doc's Place in Shadyside. Your $5 donation goes straight to Girls Hope, and you could still come out a winner with some awesome raffle prizes. Click Here for the details (and email Katie if you would like to donate a prize). ABOUT PUMP & THE PITTSBURGH SPORTS LEAGUE
PUMP's Pittsburgh Sports League joined with the Girls Hope Young Leadership Board in 2005 to grow the tournament, in addition to helping meet PUMP's mission to advance issues affecting young and young-thinking people in Pittsburgh, making the region a more dynamic, engaging and diverse place to live. PUMP's Pittsburgh Sports League (PSL) hosts adult kickball leagues three seasons per year, as well as many other sports leagues so that adults can meet and play!
