After reading more and more reports about the Pittsburgh region's lack of population diversity, it's helpful to find data that digs into the specifics within the city's limits. Public Source recently mapped Pittsburgh's neighborhoods, looking at factors of diversity, safety and vibrancy. The report lists Marshall-Shadeland, Friendship, Sheraden, Central North Side, and Spring Garden as some of the most diverse. There is a lot of data included in the interactive map and article they created. Stanton Heights, Highland Park, Point Breeze North and Windgap also stood out in a second article they published this week. Learn more about the city's 90 neighborhoods in these articles.
