Lindsay Cashman

Title: Advocacy and Public Policy Coordinator
Phone: 412-338-2133 ext. 15

Lindsay Cashman joined PUMP as the Advocacy and Public Policy Coordinator in late 2015. Lindsay earned a Master’s degree in Non-profit Management from The New School, and she has more than a decade of experience working for nonprofit organizations that serve low-income people and provide resources to issues ranging from education to housing needs. She was also the Vice president of the board of directors for La Escuelita Arcoiris, a Spanish-immersion preschool, for 5 years, and currently serves on the board of Proud Haven, a resource center and shelter for homeless LGBTQ+ youth. Although PUMP has a rich history of 20 years of advocacy work, her current position is the first position that is fully dedicated to advocacy work. Lindsay brings her passion for equity and her program experience to the table in order to advance PUMP’s strategic priorities of Diversity & Inclusion, Education & Employment, Infrastructure & Connectivity, and Health & Wellness so that Pittsburgh can be the first choice for everyone to live, work, and play.
