Jaime Filipek is currently the Program Development Manager for PUMP. She obtained her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in History and her Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Library Science, with a specialization in Archives, Preservation, and Records Management.
As a lifelong athlete, she has not surprisingly played all of the sports that the Pittsburgh Sports League offers. Jaime’s favorite sport is rugby, and she currently plays for the Pittsburgh Forge. Previously she has coached and played for the Pittsburgh Angels Rugby team that won National Championships under her captainship in 2012 and 2014.
Jaime also enjoys photography, nature, traveling, fitness, reading and all genres of music. A PUMP employee since 2013, her tasks include PSL league coordination, event brainstorming, research and development, social media creation, flyer making, etc. Jaime lives through PUMP’s mission and hopes that through her work she can energize people to grow to love the city she grew up in.
