DESCRIPTION:We’re celebrating 20 Years of PUMP!\nThanks to you we’re PUMP’d to celebrate 20 years of making a difference in the community!  To commemorate the occasion\, we’re throwing a big party on September 30th at one of Pittsburgh’s most dynamic locations that bridges Pittsburgh’s past\, present\, and future – the Energy Innovation Center. DESCRIPTION:The Global Switchboard’s Hub + Spoke 2018\nJoin us for The Global Switchboard‘s second annual Hub + Spoke event on Saturday\, November 17\, 2018 at the Energy Innovation Center. \nAbout event:\nThrough interactive experiences\, guests will hear and interact with stories that demonstrate the impact that organizations in The Global Switchboard’s network are having both globally and locally. Stories will also feature personal narratives of Pittsburghers\, drawn from the social media challenge #BurghMeetsWorld. \nAs guests mingle over food and drink\, enjoying views of the city\, and taking in the montage of stories around them\, they will also learn specific ways that they can have a significant impact on the collective concerns of The Global Switchboard’s network\, and will be invited to contribute their own stories. \nThroughout the evening there will be short presentations that include screenings of short video stories highlighting how global issues impact local individuals everyday\, and speakers highlighting The Global Switchboard’s collective impact work in the following areas: equity in global education and workforce development in the immigrant and refugee communities.
