PUMP and other great local organizations will be onsite to learn more about how to continue to connect with other young Pittsburghers and what issues are key to regional advancement. \nThis year’s theme #Pixburgh is inspired by the newest exhibition at the History Center\, #Pixburgh: A Photographic Experience. Guests are encouraged to arrive red-carpet ready as they celebrate 150 years of Pittsburgh memories – photos of its people\, places\, and historic events. DESCRIPTION:B-PEP JAZZ Fun-raiser to support the Black Political Empowerment Project\nSince 2006\, to raise awareness of the organization and its programs\, the Black Political Empowerment Project (B-PEP) has hosted B-PEP JAZZ\, a six-hour jazz marathon that features many of Pittsburgh’s very best musicians and vocalists. \nThis year’s event will take place at Heinz History Center – join for a night of great music and performances by some of the city’s premiere musicians! In addition to dozens of guest artists and guest celebrity emcees\, the event will feature two host bands – Roger Humphries & The RH Factor and The Tim Stevens Project. \nAll the funds raised during the event will support B-PEP’s programming. \nB-PEP has been serving the Metropolitan Pittsburgh community for 33 years. B-PEP launched in 1986 to ensure that the Pittsburgh African-American community votes in every single election.
