HOF encourages the development and preservation of affordable & accessible housing in the City of Pittsburgh. Its five core programs are: \n· Rental Gap Program\n· Homeowner Assistance Program\n· Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance Program\n· Housing Stabilization Program\n· For-Sale Development Program \nThis session will also feature an overview of the Home Accessibility Program for Independence (HAPI). HAPI is a grant program to assist eligible homeowners and landlords to construct accessibility modifications to their homes. Accessible modifications include but are not limited to: exterior ramps\, lifts\, door widening\, bathroom modifications\, lowering counters & shelves\, and more.
