DESCRIPTION:Parks Listening Tour II: The Parks Plan – Southside\nThe Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is hosting a series of community meetings for the second part of their Listening Tour. \nRegister for the Southside event on Oct. 5th here. \nThe meetings will detail the plan for improved park safety\, increased fair funding and access\, and upgraded maintenance and facilities for all existing city parks to leave a legacy for our children and grandchildren. This parks plan is being developed with community input. \nAt these meetings\, you and your neighbors can hear directly from Parks Conservancy and City of Pittsburgh leaders about the positive changes coming to your parks. \nCommunity meetings will be held in each council district. The presentations in these meetings will emphasize the plan for parks in that specific district. However\, Parks Conservancy and City leadership can address questions and issues related to all city parks. \nAttend an upcoming event and be part of the conversation to improve and maintain your parks! \nLight snacks and refreshments will be served and childcare will be provided. Please indicate your need for childcare when registering for an accurate headcount. \nPlease contact Erin Tobin at etobin@pittsburghparks.org for language interpretation or accessibility accomodations.
