DESCRIPTION:Experience the Strip District in a whole new way! \nJoin the Sisters Place Friends Board in the Strip District on June 11 from 11 AM-2 PM for a live-action scavenger hunt where you will solve brain-twisting clues that will send you and your friends to numerous businesses in the Strip. You’ll have a chance to discover exciting new local businesses and revisit some old favorites. You and your team will take group photos to prove you cracked the clues and share them on social media in order to be entered to win prizes at the end!  \nProceeds from Scavenge the Strip fundraiser will support Sisters Place\, a supportive housing community committed to assisting homeless families in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Scavenge the Strip is being supported by individuals and businesses that support Sisters Place’s mission of assisting families toward self-sufficiency. Click here to purchase tickets.

Join the Heinz History Center and Draw the Lines PA for bar games\, food\, drinks\, and conversation about this serious issue facing civic engagement in Pennsylvania. \nBring an open mind\, and they’ll bring drinks\, snacks\, contests that bring humor and fun to this important topic\, and prizes for winners! \nDraw your voting map and share it with your legislator\, attempt to put together the infamous gerrymandered Pennsylvania puzzle\, test drive Draw the Lines’ new “District Builder” software\, and have timely conversations with civically-engaged pals. \nAdmission is $10 per person and includes a complimentary drink ticket and free pass for a future visit to the History Center.
