SUMMARY:Pennsylvania U.S. Senate Candidate Foreign Policy Forum
DESCRIPTION:PUMP and partners are pleased to invite you to join us for a live in-person discussion on foreign policy featuring Pennsylvania U.S. Senate candidates for the 2022 election. This event will take place at the William Pitt Union Assembly Room at the University of Pittsburgh on March 9. You can attend the forum virtually or in person\, although seating is limited so please reserve your spot today. Advanced registration is required for all attending in-person. This forum is co-hosted by Casa San José\, PUMP\, Women & Girls Foundation\, and World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh. \nWe will have two separate forums for Republican and Democratic candidates with a break in between. Each forum will last approximately 2 hours and candidates will have the opportunity to answer pre-determined questions from our moderator\, as well as questions from audience members present online and in-person. As this is a foreign policy forum\, questions will relate to topics such as immigration\, climate policy\, human rights\, and diplomacy. The schedule will be as follows: \n– Doors open at 12:00PM\n– Republican forum 12:30PM – 2:30PM\n– Break 2:30PM – 3:30PM\n– Democrat forum 3:30PM – 5:30PM\n– Doors close at 6:00PM \nThe U.S. Senate is integral in shaping foreign policy\, making this event an incredible opportunity for candidates to share their ideas and positions on U.S. foreign policy with prospective voters. \nRefreshments will be provided. Additionally\, proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the event will be required for in-person admission. Masking is required when not eating. Closed captioning and Spanish Language interpretation will be offered exclusively online.
