Advocated for paid family and medical leave to support workers in Pennsylvania and nationwide and ensure that no one has to choose between a paycheck and caring for themselves or a loved one.
Mobilized young people in support of statewide advocacy efforts through Start Strong PA and Pre-K for PA to increase state funding for early learning programs, address staffing shortages, and increase access to high-quality programs for all children.
Advocated for transparency, public input, and accountability in the ongoing legislative and congressional redistricting processes in Pennsylvania to ensure fair districts that equitably represent all voting populations.
Served on the Mellon Park Action Plan Advisory Committee to create a unified vision for the park based on community and municipal priorities for park restoration, developments, and activity, as part of our commitment to equitable improvements to Pittsburgh’s parks.
Successfully lobbied Pittsburgh City Council to pass permanent inclusionary zoning in Lawrenceville in partnership with Lawrenceville United and other partners to ensure continued investments in affordable housing.
Adopted a formal position of support for transgender, intersex, and nonbinary participation in sports, further advancing our existing transinclusive policies and practices and preparing us to take direct action in allyship with the trans community.
Voter Education
PRO-VOTER AGENDA
Partnered with All Voting is Local to lobby the Allegheny County Board of Elections to adopt a pro-voter agenda to improve election infrastructure and policies, protect voting rights, and make voting more accessible.

PRIMARY DEBATE
Hosted a virtual live streamed debate for the candidates for Pittsburgh Mayor in partnership with Urban League Young Professionals of Greater Pittsburgh. The event was attended and viewed by over 1,000 individuals.
VOTE SCHOOL BOARD FIRST!
Served as lead coalition member with A+ Schools and community partners to increase voter engagement and education in Pittsburgh Public School Board elections in Districts 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.

GET OUT THE VOTE
Educated and engaged voters on local and state elections and encouraged voter turnout in Pennsylvania’s primary and general elections. Published two comprehensive, one-stop voter guides for the primary and general election, which received over 5,000 unique pageviews.

Returned in 2021 with 20 teams representing 17 countries in celebration of Pittsburgh’s vibrant and glowing global community through soccer. Raised $1,500 to support Open Field’s local youth soccer programming.
Returned in 2021 with 24 teams to raise awareness and $9,000+ in funds shared between Book ‘Em and Homeless Children’s Education Fund.
Honored and celebrated an outstanding, resilient class of 40 young leaders transforming Pittsburgh in partnership with Pittsburgh Magazine.
