We are committed to giving young people a regional platform for civic engagement, where they can learn about key issues, inform policy decisions, and advocate for change. Our advocacy work directly supports our overall goal of engaging and activating the region’s young people and professionals across our programs and events. Starting in 2016, we began a grassroots process involving our board, staff, members, and key stakeholders to identify and articulate a community-driven Advocacy and Public Policy Agenda for the organization and region.
