Basketball

The PSL offers basketball leagues year round, generally offering men’s leagues, women’s leagues, and mixed gender leagues. We host leagues on Wednesday and Thursday nights at the Homewood-Brushton YMCA. Our basketball leagues run 5 v 5 and teams can roster up to 12 players.

Bowling

The PSL hosts bowling leagues year round at Arsenal Lanes, located in Lawrenceville. We offer leagues Sunday through Friday, and we offer leagues that bowl at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Teams are composed of four bowlers (no gender requirements) and all PSLers have access to PSL beer specials at Arsenal’s bar.

Cornhole

The PSL hosts cornhole leagues year round, and these leagues have each turned into amazing communities! The PSL offers cornhole leagues on Tuesday nights at Bigham Tavern, and Wednesday nights at Hop Farm Brewing Company. Our cornhole matches consist of three games played to 21 points, and our playoff bracket is a best of three series! PSL cornhole leagues are open gender and played 2 v 2, with a roster maximum of 4 players.

Flag Football

PSL flag football is a mixed gender sport and is offered spring, summer, and fall at fields throughout the City of Pittsburgh! We offer leagues on Sunday mornings and occasionally on Thursday evenings. We also host a 5 v 5 tournament and several pick up nights throughout the year! PSL flag football is played 8 v 8 (3 gender minority minimum) with a roster maximum of 20 players.

Kickball

The PSL offers kickball during the spring, summer, and fall seasons on multiple fields throughout the City of Pittsburgh! Kickball is one of our most popular sports and is played outdoors on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Our leagues are recreational and played 10 v 10 (4 gender minority minimum) with a roster maximum of 20 players.

Pickleball

Pickleball is PSL’s fastest growing sport! We’re excited to be able to offer pickleball leagues all year; we play indoor pickleball year round and add outdoor leagues to the mix for the summer season. PSL offers multiple leagues with beginner, intermediate, and competitive divisions, and all of our pickleball leagues are open gender and played 2 v 2, with a roster maximum of 4.

Running Club

The PSL Running Clubs runs every Thursday of the year at 6:15 p.m. from a different location, which is posted to our website each week. Runners can expect maps with 3, 4 and 6 mile options and a fun atmosphere to enjoy food and a beverage with new or old friends after.

Sand Volleyball

Starting in May each year, PSL heads outdoors and offers sand volleyball leagues at the Highland Park Sand Courts! PSL hosts sand volleyball leagues on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings as well as Sunday mornings in Highland Park; we also offer a sand volleyball tournament each year! Our weeknight sand volleyball leagues play 4 v 4 (1 gender minority minimum) and our Sunday leagues play 6 v 6 (2 gender minority minimum). All PSL sand volleyball leagues are posted as either competitive, intermediate, or recreational.

Softball

Softball is PSL’s biggest sport and is played spring, summer and fall on fields throughout the City of Pittsburgh. The PSL plays softball on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, as well as Saturday mornings. All PSL softball leagues are mixed gender and recreational; while you will find some competition in your league, the goal is always to play a game you enjoy while spending time with friends! Our softball games are played 10 v 10 (4 gender minority minimum) with a roster maximum of 20 players.

Tennis

PSL Tennis is the only sport we offer clinic style with individual registrations. Tennis is offered every season of the year on Wednesday nights at the Mellon Tennis Bubble (indoor). The clinic is run by Citiparks for players of all levels.

PSL volleyball is one of our most popular sports! The PSL plays volleyball year round at multiple gyms throughout the City of Pittsburgh, and offers leagues on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, with the exception of summer when we head outside for sand volleyball and offer fewer indoor leagues. Teams play 6 v 6 (2 gender minority minimum) with a roster maximum of 12 players, and all PSL volleyball leagues are posted as either competitive, intermediate, or recreational.
