On Monday, December 21, Pittsburgh Public Schools held a press conference that announced the plans for the new Superintendent search.

There will be 7 public hearings throughout the city from 6pm to 9pm on the following dates with registration to speak starting at 5pm:

Thursday, January 7 (Obama 6-12)

Wednesday, January 13 (Oliver Citywide Academy)

Tuesday, January 19 (Brashear High School)

Thursday, January 21 (Carrick High School)

Monday, January 25 (Board of Education Administration Building)

Tuesday, January 26 (Langley K-8)

Thursday, January 28 (University Preparatory School at Margaret Milliones 6-12)

Input via email, an online survey, twitter, and telephone (888-839-5445) will also be collected during January. The national search for applicants will then begin in February. View the full timeline here.
