Fair Districts PA is looking for volunteers to work the polls for the Congressional District 18 special election on March 13. Volunteers will work a shift at strategic polling locations in Congressional District 18 talking to voters about gerrymandering in Pennsylvania. Volunteers will encourage people to get involved and sign Fair Districts PA’s petition urging state legislators to put voters first by supporting House Bill 722 and Senate Bill 22. These bills, which PUMP has officially endorsed, would establish an independent redistricting commission responsible for drawing PA’s district maps.

Additional information:
- Shifts are 3-4 hours long – no need to be available all day!
- They will assign you to a strategic poll based on your location and availability. All volunteers will have a partner, so you will not have to work a shift by yourself.
- They will provide all the materials and instructions you need to have a successful day.
- They will also be organizing outreach for the May 15 primary. That effort has a separate recruitment process that beings March 2.
