A+ Schools is now accepting applications for the second cohort of their Board Watch Academy. Board Watch Academy is an opportunity to learn more about the school board, how to use data to monitor school district strategies, how governance impacts educational equity and school quality, and how voters can hold school board members accountable. The second cohort will begin in July 2018 and run through December. Participants are required to attend one Pittsburgh Public Schools board meeting and one A+ Schools Board Watch training per month. Limited sports are available.
