MEET OUR PSL PERSON OF THE MONTH!

Jaime Filipek Advocacy, PSL, Recreation, Social

Each month we take the time to get to know someone in the PSL world better. In the past we have featured officials and staff members. This month we are changing things up a bit and have decided to pick a PSL player who used some of his free time during Covid-19 to help the PSL!

Our June PSL Person of the Month is Brandon! Get to know Brandon better and be sure to say hi to him next time you see him out!

How long have you been participating in PSL?: I believe my first PSL year was Summer of 2008. So I would say 11 years!

Which sport(s) have you played with PSL?: Softball and I even tried dodgeball years back.

What is your favorite PSL memory?: Winning a championship for the first time. I still have the photo and lineup card from that night.

What do you do for a living?: I run a Video and Film Production company called KVT Productions. We created this video for the PSL Summer leagues announcement!

How did you get involved with the PSL?:  I did a google search for recreational softball leagues back in 2008. I came across the league and made a few phone calls to get in the pipeline of PSL softball.

Anything you’d like to share about yourself with the PSL community?: Playing PSL Softball has become one of my favorite days of the week. I only get a chance to play once or twice a week but it’s a fun night out to enjoy with my friends and it gives me a chance to make new friends. Huge thanks to everyone within the PSL management team for all your work to provide us the opportunity to enjoy so many sports.
