Mini Grants Application Open: 2018 Civic Inclusion & Engagement Fund

Vibrant Pittsburgh and Urban Affairs Foundation, part of the Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh. have teamed up to implement this year’s Mini Grants Initiative: 2018 Civic Inclusion & Engagement Fund.

The fund aims to promote diverse communities in the Pittsburgh region. Vibrant Pittsburgh and the Jewish Federation have committed $25,000 each to create a $50,000 fund for projects “that increase the civic engagement of diverse and immigrant communities.” The 2018 theme is “Language Access through the Use of Technology.”

Projects eligible for Mini Grant funding should:

  • Create opportunities for civic engagement that result in a more inclusive and engaged multicultural region
  • Be collaborative by engaging diverse communities, organizations, or partners.
