Port Authority Releases Annual Service Report

The Port Authority of Allegheny County released their annual service report regarding data about system efficiency, effectiveness, and equity as well as service change requests and planned changes for Fiscal Year 2017. 

Of the many service requests that were submitted to the Port Authority, the report lists changes that are expected to be implemented in Fiscal Year 2017. Those include plans for minor changes to reduce overcrowding concerns and improve on-time performance on various routes as well as major changes to adhere to service guidelines on the G2, G3, P13, 17, 18, 21 and 41 buses and to expand service on the 79, 89 and P17 buses. These planned changes are expected to cost approximately $1,300,000.
