Volunteers Needed for MLK Dreaming Radically Youth Conference

A+ Schools is hosting a youth conference on January 15, 2018 and they need volunteers!

The conference will include experiential workshops led by community leaders and organizations and networking opportunities to empower young people to develop leadership and advocacy skills. Learn more about the event here.

Volunteer Needs:

Preparing conference materials, folders, and giveaways (1/10/18, 3-6 pm)

Setting up space (1/12/18, 3-6 pm)

Greeting partners who are tabling (1/15/18, 12-1 pm)

Sign-in table (1/15/18, 12-3 pm)

Greeting workshop presenters and getting them set up in their space (1/15/18, 1-4 pm)

Rearranging room for panel/dinner/performances (1/15/18, 3:30-4:30 pm)

Set up for dinner (1/15/18, 5-6 pm)

Serving dinner (1/15/18, 6-7 pm)

Greeting panelists and performers/artists and getting them set up (1/15/18, 5-7 pm)

Clean up workshop rooms (1/15/18, 5-6 pm)

Clean up from conference (1/15/18, 7-8 pm)

There will be up to 50 high school students from across the city in attendance. A+ Schools will be joined by many community partners, including Carnegie Library, APOSTARYSE, The Good Peoples GroupPRIDE, and others.
