Glasshouse Happy Hours

February 19, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us on February 19th as we team up with Phipps Conservatory for the first of three Glasshouse Happy Hours.

The first Glasshouse Happy Hour will focus on bringing nature indoors during the cold Pittsburgh winter. Maggie’s Farm Rum will be there to share their story and specialty made cocktails and Phipps’ edible gardening expert, Mike Bechtel, will teach you how you to grow your own potted herbs and savory plants indoors. The first 150 guests will be able to pot their own plant, so register now!

It may be cold outside but Phipps is the perfect place to enjoy warm weather 365 days a year.  Hot House guests will be able to explore Phipps’ gardens including the Tropical Forest Congo exhibit, that doesn’t open until February 7th.

Registration for Glasshouse Happy Hours is $25 for members of Phipps and PUMP, and $35 for nonmembers To register, click here or contact Phipps at 412/622-6915x 6505. Not a PUMP member yet?  Click here to join for only $5.

Tickets include:

  • 2 Maggie’s Farm Rum Cocktails
  • Appetizers
  • A MillerCoors beverage
  • A potted plant to take home!
