Advocacy 101 Training with Bike Pittsburgh

February 23, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Advocacy 101 Training for Bike/Pedestrian Advocates on Feb. 23 – Submit Application by 2/15/19

Bike Pittsburgh is hosting their first-ever training for bike/pedestrian advocates in the neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. This training is open to everyone, whether you are just joining the bike/ped advocate scene or are a well established advocate. No previous advocacy experience necessary.

The training will walk through the advocacy tools that Bike Pittsburgh has been using to help participants create and run a winning campaign in your neighborhood. The training is a full day event and the topics will build off of each other, so it’s important to stay for the entire day.

The goal of the training is for participants to leave with a campaign that they can push for in their neighborhoods and a greater sense of camaraderie with fellow advocates.

Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The training is free, but class size is limited.

Submit your application here by February 15.
