Ballot PA Vets Southwest PA Kickoff

September 28, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join honorary veteran co-chairs Rocky Bleier and Jack Wagner to make sure EVERY veteran in SWPA gets their vote!

America’s veterans all have one thing in common: they took an oath to protect and defend our country and our constitution.

Sadly, our country simply doesn’t always stand up for them. In Pennsylvania, for example, as many as 400,000 veterans are barred from voting in primary elections. Why? Because they identify as political independents, and in Pennsylvania independent voters are shut out of primary elections.

We think that’s wrong. That’s un-American. Ballot PA Vets – led by veteran leaders including Steelers legend Rocky Bleier and former state Senator and Auditor General Jack Wagner – is fighting to change that.

On Wednesday, September 28th, join Rocky and Jack at the Western Pennsylvania Kickoff of the Ballot PA Vets Campaign. We’re calling on all veterans, and friends of veterans, come for lunch, and show your support for repealing PA’s closed primaries. RSVP here.
