Join your Homewood neighbors in cheering on the runners of the Pittsburgh Marathon as they power through mile 18 of the 26-mile stretch across our city! The Homewood Fluid Station was voted ‘Favorite Neighborhood on the Course’ by runners in 2015! In addition to the award-winning water station there will be opportunities to participate in building outdoor furniture, constructing planters from reclaimed materials, and decorating amenities that will be used on future Homewood green spaces that will build on the positive energy in the neighborhood. This is a wonderful chance to support marathon runners while engaging with friends, community members, and folks you may have met at the Community Dinner and Redd Up.
