Globally Grounded with Michelle King

Globally Grounded, is a recurring self-identifying BIPOC only (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) exclusive program. This program will serve as an opportunity for self-identifying BIPOC community members to gather, discuss, and hear from expert speakers around global issues topics in a space that is safe for and thoughtful of the Global Majority.
Each speaker will provide a deeper lens into a specific global issue or region, pulling either on their professional or lived experience, and will integrate a mindfulness practice to ground us during each conversation in an informal, conversational, and welcoming space. All speakers, facilitators, staff, and attendees will be BIPOC identifying.
May 11th from 6:00 -7:30 pm will be the first program of the recurring series. Join this free, virtual program to hear from Michelle King, educator and learning instigator, in an informal, conversational, and welcoming space.
