Inspire Speakers Series: Environmental Justice and Civic Conversation

The Inspire Speaker Series, an initiative of the Green Building Alliance, is a sequence of lectures that brings fresh, innovative thinking on topics of sustainability to Pittsburgh, with the goal of inspiring and motivating citizens and leaders to think bigger and bolder about what is possible for our region. The series features nationally renowned thought-leaders from various sustainability fields, as well as local experts who can share their experiences of promoting environmental quality, social equity, and economic vitality in Western Pennsylvania.

 

April 20th Featured Speakers Include:

 

Dr. John Francis – Planetwalker

 

Khalif Ali – Director of Public Policy and Advocacy, The Pittsburgh Foundation

 

Evaine K. Sing – Executive Director, GTECH Strategies

 

Joan Haley – Executive Director, Pittsburgh Schweitzer Fellows Program

 

Jason Beery – Senior Research and Policy Analyst, UrbanKind Institute

5:30PM – 6:15PM – Keynote by Dr. John Francis and short introductions by local panelists
