Parks Listening Tour II: The Parks Plan – Frick Environmental Center

October 13, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Parks Listening Tour II: The Parks Plan – Frick Environmental Center

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is hosting a series of community meetings for the second part of their Listening Tour.

Register for the Frick Environmental Center event on Oct. 13th here.

The meetings will detail the plan for improved park safety, increased fair funding and access, and upgraded maintenance and facilities for all existing city parks to leave a legacy for our children and grandchildren. This parks plan is being developed with community input.

At these meetings, you and your neighbors can hear directly from Parks Conservancy and City of Pittsburgh leaders about the positive changes coming to your parks.

Community meetings will be held in each council district. The presentations in these meetings will emphasize the plan for parks in that specific district. However, Parks Conservancy and City leadership can address questions and issues related to all city parks.

Attend an upcoming event and be part of the conversation to improve and maintain your parks!

Light snacks and refreshments will be served and childcare will be provided. Please indicate your need for childcare when registering for an accurate headcount.

Please contact Erin Tobin at etobin@pittsburghparks.org for language interpretation or accessibility accomodations. Requests need to be made one week before event takes place.

Learn more about the Parks Plan and find all events here.
