Join us and Patagonia Pittsburgh on Tuesday July 24th to watch Takayna, a film about the Tarkine region in Tasmania. Tarkine is home to one of the last undisturbed tracts of ancient rain forest in the world and home to one of the highest concentrations of Aboriginal archaeology in the world. The Tarkine is currently under threat from extractive industries – including logging and mining.

Patagonia’s doors will open at 7pm for mingling and refreshments. The film will start at 7:30pm. We will have an exciting raffle to raise money for PUMPed to Run’s ongoing programming. You can also support us by bringing gently used athletic shoes or clothing to the event. We are in special need of men’s shorts and women’s clothing, sizes XL and larger.
