No matter what we look like, where we live, or how much money we make, we all deserve safe, affordable water, affordable, stable, secure housing, living wage jobs, and the ability to make ends meet. As the pandemic and the economic crisis unfolding in its wake continues, we are seeing the result of the dysfunction and disparities of our broken system.

We know the time is now to demand that government both help us weather this crisis AND set a better course for the future of all of our communities. That’s why Pittsburgh United is hosting this candidate forum — to ensure that our communities have the chance to hear directly from the candidates running to lead our city from the Mayor’s office. This event will provide an opportunity for all four mayoral candidates to tell Pittsburgh voters how they would address the issues that matter most to us.
