Join Pittsburghers for Public Transit (PPT) to lay out priorities and plans for launching the Riders’ Transit Vision. 

The Rider’s Transit Vision is PPT’s vision for dedicated connections from the East Busway to Monroeville and McKeesport, free transfers and fare equity, free fare days across Summer 2019 using Clean Air Fund money, and policies connecting good transit to affordable housing.

There will also be discussion about plans for an action around the autonomous vehicle “Mon-Oakland connector” shuttle, the results of a survey around resident impacts of displacement on transit and mobility access, and bus service campaigns in Brookline and McKeesport.
