PSL Service Project – McKinley Park

March 24, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

For our 1st PSL Service Project of 2022 we will be partnering with our friends at the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy to help give some loving attention McKinley Park. At one time, McKinley was home to 6 days a week of PSL activity, and was a location for softball, flag football, and kickball. Due to failing infrastructure in the park, we are now only using the field for flag football sporadically. A few hours of our help, will offer a huge opportunity to make an impact on not only the park, but the neighboring communities as well. Please join us!

Where: McKinley Park
When: Thursday March 24th, 5:30-dusk.
Meet at the bleachers near the track. PSL staff will be wearing a PSL shirt and will be there to greet you.

We will provide garbage bags, recycling bags, tools, gloves, hand sanitizer, encouragement and direction. Project details will be announced closer to the event, but there will be activity options for all skill levels.
What to Bring: We recommend wearing long pants and sturdy closed toed shoes and to bring water. You are welcome to bring gloves if you have your own. All volunteers should adhere to our PSL Covid-19 Guidelines.
