PSL Service Projects: Volunteer & Beer at Sheraden Park
September 29, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
As a way to give back to Pittsburgh and the communities we play our PSL games in we hold several Service Projects each year. These projects are so important because they give our players and volunteers an opportunity to support Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods and get to know the city and our residents better. Since beginning our Service Projects we have volunteered in Mount Washington, Highland Park and the South Side. Each project is lead by the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and thoughtfully connects us as users of City Parks to a greater opportunity to make our parks better.
What to Expect:
We will be working from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Volunteers should wear long pants and sturdy close-toed shoes. We will have some water, but you may also want to bring your own. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt.
Lunch & Beer to Follow:
The office of Councilwoman Theresa Kail-Smith will provide beer, water, pop, and pizza. This will be a great way to come together and reflect after getting dirty!
