PULSE Pitch 2018
November 14, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join PULSE (Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience) for their annual PULSE Pitch event on Nov.14!
The PULSE Pitch is a program for PULSE fellows (recent college graduates participating in a year of service with local nonprofits) to share ideas for small-scale community-based projects in Pittsburgh neighborhoods. Through PULSE Pitch and the PULSE Fellow Fund, fellows are coached to effectively plan, communicate, implement, and evaluate their community-based project.
The PULSE Pitch is an opportunity for PULSE fellows to communicate community-based projects to a wide variety of constituents (fellows, PULSE board members and alumni, Pittsburgh residents and neighbors, friends, and the general public). Fellows have 5-7 minutes to “Pitch” their idea. The PULSE alumni council and audience will have an opportunity to vote for where funding will be distributed. Amounts of up to $1,000 will be made available to provide immediate support for projects.

PULSE cultivates a community of young servant leaders to transform Pittsburgh. They invite talented university graduates to partner with Pittsburgh nonprofits for a year of service and leadership.
