School Days: Live Read

An ensemble cast of local actors presents a staged reading homage mash-up about the Black college experienceInspired by Dear White People, A Different World, and Grown-ish. Produced by Ryan Canty and Nia Johnson. All shows air live at 9PM ET and will be available after airing on our YouTube channel.

Comedy Streaming Online

Arcade Comedy Theater is celebrating Black History Month with its newly updated mission statement in mind: inspiring joy and nurturing community-building by connecting artists and audiences with the dynamic artform of comedy. Starting February 4 and spanning the entire month, Arcade will be centering Black voices in comedy with a virtual staged reading series, a stand-up comedy roast, storytelling, improv and sketch shows.

All of the programming is available to stream for free on our website and YouTube channel, which is supported in part by the Arts Equity Reimagined Fund through PACE.
