Sustainable Millvale Walk ‘n’ Roll

June 8, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Millvale is in the middle of an intensive EcoDistrict planning and implementation process led by EvolveEA. Over the past three years, community members in Millvale have been working with various groups to implement the Millvale EcoDistrict Pivot Plan, which focuses on meeting specific and ambitious goals around energy, water, food, air, mobility, and equity.

Join Zaheen Hussain, the sustainability coordinator in the Borough of Millvale, for a tour around the borough highlighting some of the most exciting sustainable development progress, including community gardens, renewable energy applications, green infrastructure, and much more!

Following the tour, check out Grist House, a craft brewery where the first drink for all attendees over 21 is included in your $10-15 event registration through the Green Building Alliance! Then stick around for food from the nightly food truck!
