True Zero Waste Symposium

February 21, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

PRC’s TRUE Zero Waste Symposium

Join the Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) and the Zero Waste Pennsylvania team to learn how your business or institution can advance its solid waste and recycling goals with fiscally responsible strategies. This workshop will present TRUE (Total Resource Use & Efficiency), a rigorous new standard which moves beyond others by focusing on how we operate our businesses, factories, and institutions.

PRC is partnering with Green Building Alliance (GBA) and Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens on this informative educational workshop. Attendees will learn from Stephanie Barger about the TRUE process and her pioneering work in the world of Zero Waste. Additional presentations will include case studies from early adopters of TRUE and other national leaders focusing on how thoughtful waste management systems are protecting the environment and the bottom line.
