What Everyone Needs to Know About Going to Court: White Lily Baptist Church

Going to court for housing issues can be an overwhelming experience for both landlords and tenants. Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts is presenting several community meetings to build knowledge and confidence by guiding the average person through the process. Presentations from the Magisterial District Judges will review how a case gets to court, courtroom etiquette, what happens in the courtroom, and the physical set-up of the courts. These meetings are open to all and no RSVP is required.
Meeting dates:
1) Thursday, January 24 – 6-8 PM – Hill House Association
2) Monday, January 28 – 1-2:30 PM – Focus on Renewal Community Resource Center
3) Monday, January 28 – 6-7:30 PM – White Lily Baptist Church
4) Tuesday, January 29 – 6-7 PM – South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM)
