Get to know our May PSL Official of the Month

Greg Mitrik Access to Health + Wellness, Active + Engaged Residents, Diverse + Connected Region, PSL, Recreation, Social

Each month we are going to take the time to get to know one of our PSL officials better. This is a great way to know the person who dedicates their free time to umpiring or refereeing your games.

Our May PSL Official of the Month is Cameron! Get to know Cameron better and be sure to say hi to him at your next PSL game.

How long have you been officiating with the PSL? 2 months

Which sport(s) do you officiate? Coed softball

What is your favorite PSL officiating memory? Nothing sticks out yet.

What do you do for a living? Sell insurance for State Farm

Why did you decide to officiate with the PSL? Have been a PIAA official for 5 years for both wrestling and fast pitch softball. Also have been umpiring USA fast pitch and men’s slow pitch. Wanted to diversify from the games I have been doing for years, by umpiring coed.

Anything you’d like to share about yourself with the PSL community? On top of being an official, I am also a volunteer youth football coach for North Allegheny Tiger Pride!
