PUMP members are teaming up and making change in our community.

This year, PUMP and United Way are partnering to create real change in our community through the first-ever PUMP Tag Team. The Tag Team is a dynamic group of young professionals who are raising money to renovate and revitalize Wilkins STEAM Academy library. Starting today, February 19, until April 3, we need your help to reach our goal of $10,000. After the campaign ends, the Tag Team will do a day of service on May 2 at Wilkins to begin the library renovations.

A school library is more than a stacks of books and a place to be quiet.

It can be a great equalizer; giving access to learning resources and unlocking possibilities for every student.

Recently, Woodland Hills School District transitioned Wilkins Elementary to a Pre-K – 5th grade STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math) Academy. To be successful, the students need a modern, more tech-friendly library environment – one that encourages learning, creativity and collaboration.

You can make an enormous impact on the success of Wilkins STEAM Academy students. Even a small contribution of $10, $15 or $25 can help us reach these critical, but attainable upgrades:

  • $5,000 Total = Refreshed, inviting physical space
  • $10,000 Total = + New learning stations
  • $15,000 Total = + Technical upgrades including learning boards and tablets

So get on board with the PUMP Tag Team to build STEAM for the students at Wilkins.
