Volunteer with Fair Districts PA at the Polls on April 2, 2019

On Tuesday, April 2, 2019 there will be a Special Election in Senate District 37, which includes parts of Allegheny County and Washington County. The election will be to fill the PA Senate seat vacated by Guy Reschenthaler upon his election to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Fair Districts PA (FDPA) is recruiting volunteers to work the polls during Special Election Day and educate voters about redistricting reform efforts in Pennsylvania.

This is a great opportunity to get engaged in the work to end gerrymandering and ensure that every voter’s voice counts.

As a volunteer, you will:

  • Work with a partner to hand out educational materials at a strategic poll
  • Ask your fellow citizens as they leave the polls to sign FDPA’s petition to end gerrymandering
  • Feel the excitement and civic pride that comes with sharing this message!

Visit this page to fill out the volunteer interest form and learn more. Fair Districts PA will assign you to a town/polling place that is most convenient for you and provide you with training, materials, and support so that you can feel confident when you show up at the polls.
