Join the PSL as we volunteer in the North Side at Fowler Field on Wednesday June 8th, 2022 for our 2nd PSL Service Project of the year!

Where: Fowler Field, Charles Avenue in Perry Hilltop (North Side).

When: Wednesday June 8th, 5:30-dusk.
Meet at the bleachers near the field. PSL staff will be wearing a PSL shirt and will be there to greet you.

Who: Anyone who wants to make a big impact in a small amount of time (18+)! We recommend wearing pants, closed toed shoes and to bring water. You are welcome to bring gloves if you have your own. We ask all volunteers to adhere to our PSL Outdoor Guidelines for safe sports.

Details: We will be partnering with and led by the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy for this project. We will provide garbage bags, recycling bags, tools, gloves, hand sanitizer, encouragement and direction. Our goal is to pick up as much trash in one hour as possible!

What to Bring: We recommend wearing long pants and sturdy closed toed shoes and to bring water. You are welcome to bring gloves if you have your own. All volunteers should adhere to our PSL Covid-19 Guidelines.

PSL Service Projects:

As a way to give back to Pittsburgh and the communities we play our PSL games in we hold several Service Projects each year. These projects are so important because they give our players and volunteers an opportunity to support Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods and get to know the city and our residents better. Since beginning our Service Projects we have volunteered in Mount Washington (Dilworth), Highland Park (Entry Garden), South Side (South Side Park), Arlington (Urban Farm), Hill District (August Wilson Park), North Side (Riverview Park) and the West End (Sheraden Park).
