A Concert for Peace: Humantarian Relief for Ukraine

April 2, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Music Director Manfred Honeck will lead the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and be joined by the Pittsburgh Symphony’s Marta Krechkovsky, violin, Leif Ove Andsnes, piano, two Pittsburgh choirs, and Pittsburgh Opera’s Resident Artists in support of humanitarian relief for the people of Ukraine. This performance will also be livestreamed on the Pittsburgh Symphony’s digital platform, Front Row and broadcast live by WQED-FM (89.3). Though there is no charge to attend the concert, the Pittsburgh Symphony and Manfred Honeck are asking those who attend or stream the concert to make donations for humanitarian relief in Ukraine and has partnered with the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania for this effort. All of the artists are donating their services for this concert.
