Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit 2019

The 21st Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit is a multi-cultural initiative of the Black & White Reunion. For the fourth consecutive year, it will be hosted by the Metro-Urban Institute at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

The Opening Ceremony and Organizing Dance Party is in partnership with Union Project.

This year brings a renewed energy, with events starting Friday night and continuing into Saturday night:

  • The Opening Ceremony will take place on Friday evening, January 25th at 6:30 PM, at the Union Project. Seating is limited for the Opening and must be reserved.
  • The core of the event is still a full day of panels and workshops, on Saturday the 26th, at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. The doors open at 8 AM. There will be a light continental breakfast, and lunch is included.
  • The Summit will wrap up at Union Project on Saturday night with an Organizing Dance Party at 7:30 PM to connect, celebrate, and organize!
