Supported by the Richard King Mellon Foundation, the PACE Foundation and Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management, EmployHER Pittsburgh is a new initiative spearheaded by Dress for Success Pittsburgh, New Century Careers and When She Thrives aimed at providing access to better employment, personal development and educational opportunities for women in Allegheny County.

EmployHER Pittsburgh will remove barriers like access to childcare and transportation through pop up engagement events, bringing multiple nonprofit resources and prospective employers to the communities of women we serve. Each woman who participates will be supported by a success partner and have the opportunity to develop an actionable success plan to include goals, support and accountability follow ups at 1, 3 and 6 months.

We will be hosting a Virtual Info Session on Thursday, August 25 from 1-2pm for women who may benefit from the initiative, in addition to prospective volunteers, corporate partners and employers.
