Good Deeds Day Pittsburgh
April 15, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
The Jewish Federation Volunteer Center and Community Relations Council are facilitating Good Deeds Day in Pittsburgh on Sunday, April 15.
Good Deeds Day is a global day that unites people from across the globe to do good deeds for the benefit of others and the planet. All over the world, millions of people volunteer together, putting into practice the simple idea that every person can do something to improve the lives of others and positively change the world.
Good Deeds Day was initiated in 2007 in Israel. Since then, this annual day of volunteerism has attracted an ever-expanding number of participants. In 2017, 2.5 million people volunteered in 93 different countries.
This event is an opportunity for volunteers to participate in interesting projects and do some good! Hundreds of community members will spend the day volunteering at organizations throughout the greater Pittsburgh area.
