Leadership Roundtable: Shelter by Johnson Institute for Responsible Leadership

October 5, 2017 @ 4:30 pm

What does shelter mean to you? It can be a calm place in the storm, a community of good neighbors, or a small room that one goes to in order to find tranquility. Explore the many meanings of shelter through the lenses of homelessness, immigrant and refugee services, and protection of marginalized groups with Johnson Institute for Responsible Leadership during its’ first Leadership Roundtable!

Several guests who will be present for this discussion include:

 Jeremy Carter, Chief Housing Officer, Community Human Services
 Kheir Mugwaneza, Program Manager, Center for Inclusion & Immigrant Health, Allegheny Health Network
 Barbara Murock, Health Policy Specialist/Immigrants and Internationals Initiative Manager, Allegheny County Department of Human Services

This event is free and open to the community.

Presented in collaboration with the Society for Contemporary Craft’s exhibit Shelter: Crafting a Safe Home.

RSVP to Lydia McShane to attend.
